The bill (Reg. No. 2533а) suggests provide local self-government authorities with the right to restrict consumption of beer (except for non-alcoholic), alcoholic and low-alcoholic beverages, table wines and tobacco products.

According to the people’s deputies, implementation of the draft law provisions will help decrease public order violations in cities at night time, as well as decrease a number of crimes committed in a state of alcoholic intoxication, etc.
